HIGH QUALITY RATIONS FOR ALL CIRCUMSTANCES

The following is a brief description of the Standard Camel Feeds manufactured by Charnwood Milling Company. All feeds have been designed to produce the best possible results - not only on the Track, but also in the carrying, nursing, and rearing of young stock. The very high, and carefully balanced Vitamin, Mineral & Trace Element content of each diet ensures that every animal is capable of attaining it’s maximum growth and development potential.

[679]   CAMEL CREEP MIX
Protein 15.5%    Oil 5.2%    Fibre 6.6%    Ash 7.2%

An attractive, highly nutritious, and extremely palatable feed for Weaning Camels.  This ration may be used as a complete feed, with quality forage, or in conjunction with other suitable feed ingredients, as part of a wider feed regime.  Molassed to encourage instant uptake.

Protein 15.5%    Oil 6.4%    Fibre 7.0%     Ash 9.5%

A quality protein diet specifically for Brood Camels. Designed to meet not only the heavy demands but on the Mother, but also to encourage optimum foetal development and bone formation of the unborn Calf. This food will also be very suitable for growing/working males.

A carefully formulated diet combining high quality proteins with high level nutrition. Special attention during selection of ingredients to those combining palatability & digestibility ensures optimum nourishment when most rapid growth and strong development is essential.

This ration is designed to provide the very high energy requirement of Racing Camels. The very high Vitamin, Mineral & Trace elements content of all CMC Camel Feeds especially helps the camel cope with the abnormal stress and strain of racing and training.

Protein 14.0%    Oil 5.25%    Fibre 7.0%    Ash 7.5%

A muesli-type Coarse Mix again designed to meet all of the requirements of Racing Camels. Cooked and flaked cereals are combined with other top quality ingredients specifically chosen to provide a Protein:Energy ratio which ensures both maximum speed and stamina.

Charnwood Milling Company strive to produce the best possible feeds for all occasions, and our standard rations are formulated to this end. We do realise, however, that what is good for one Stable is not necessarily so for another, and we are therefore happy and keen to discuss individual requirements, and tailor Feeds to specific needs.

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

ALPACA FEEDS
[320]   ALPACA COARSE MIX

A very nutritious, and highly palatable coarse Ration, ideal not only for Stud and Breeding animals, but also as a recovery ration, or as a first hard feed for young Alpacas

This ration contains additional Zinc and significant levels of B vitamins to encourage maximum coat condition and production.

Protein  13.50%      Oil  6.00%      Fibre   14.30%  Ash 9.00%

A pelleted ration for those who prefer to feed cubes.  This ration is designed to augment, or replace, the more expensive Coarse Mix.  This feed combines high levels of

Fibre for roughage, and oil for energy, in a very palatable hard feed.

[323]   ALPACA MAINTENANCE PLUS NUTS
Protein  11.00%      Oil  2.75%     Fibre   11.80%   Ash 8.00%

A lower energy, lower protein ration designed to maintain Alpaca in good health – at a realistic price!  Although nutritionally lower than the above feeds, this ration will still maintain good health and condition.

This mix has been designed to help satisfy the Alpaca’s need for roughage, especially when hay is short – or expensive!

The Alpaca Coarse Mix – Ration [320] is a very popular mix amongst all of our customers, and this can usually be collected ex stock.  The other rations tend to be ordered as required by the more commercially orientated companies, and might not always be available, without prior notification.
